GIAC performance software for the 2005 - 2002 B6 A4® 1.8T w/ K04 Turbo Upgrade smoothly delivers a 35-100 hp and 55-130 ft/lb gain. For optimum perfomance the software must be coupled with intercooler, K04, quality 380cc injectors and a free flowing exhaust (stock MAF/Stock N75).
The GIAC tuned K04 FX (380cc Injector) program has proven itself as a rock solid top performer over the years. The latest new program with the GIAC software Boost controller includes completely new fueling and ignition parameters to allow for a wider range of climates and hardwares. It is very well behaved- cold starting/idling/fuel consumption and runs very clean on pumps fuels. It can even pass the strictest emissions tests. It now includes an optional GIAC software boost controller which allows you, the end user, to set the boost to the limit of your hardware, octane, or climate conditions (You can seasonally adjust your power. This is ideal in desert climates.). Once set it is saved inside the ECU, until you change the setting. You can adjust your boost with the GIAC software switcher or the GIAC Flashloader handheld (mini-computer).
