First Impressions: You instantly get the military feel of the watch. From the packaging to the dial, you see the military influence immediately. I was impressed with the green color. It seemed just right for this watch.
Packaging: The watch comes in a wood box. The box has a plate affixed to the top announcing that is was made for the GAF and is a Swiss Made timepiece.
Case Back: Standard case back with all the important info. Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective coating, WR to 50m, Swiss made and S/N. This is number 24 of 25. These are a very limited edition.
Strap: UNIQ lists this strap as "Waterproof Genuine Leather". It is well made of a nice quality leather. It will fit up to about an 8" wrist comfortably. Nice imprint on the strap.
This is a short strap. My wrist is 8.25" and I'm on the second to last hole and can barely tuck in the end of the strap into the keeper. I would not be comfortable wearing this watch like this, as the end will come out of the keeper and bother me all day. I took the review pictures with the strap in place. Since then I have swapped out the strap for a NATO band. I will eventually get a military green or khaki colored NATO or ZULU. I think the watch should ship with one.
Lume: Better then average lume. No lume on the second hand. Notice the change to the NATO for this photograph.
Comparison: The UNIQ GAF is 44mm is diameter and wears larger as the bezel is thin. Here it is next to my Orient M Force that measures in at 46mm. Without the divers bezel the watch face is larger than that of the larger watch.
WRIST SHOT: Movement: Swiss Ronda 715

I was not familiar with the brand and I would most likely not pick it out of a line-up of watches for sale. But now that I have one, I have to say it is a very well made piece for a reasonable price. The only real negative is the strap length, and to tell you the truth this watch belongs on a military NATO or ZULU strap. I think they should consider shipping the watch with a NATO strap in the box.
The size is good, the dial is nice, the quality is excellent and the lume is above average. It comes with the wooden box, AR coating, sapphire crystal and is labeled Swiss Made. I'm not sure what else you could ask for in a watch that costs $350. I know many of you will long for an automatic. I have several quartz watches and I think there is still a place for them in watch enthusiast's collections. This is a very limited edition, as only 25 will be available in each of the four colors. If you like a military style watch, with some real military heritage, then don't wait too long to grab one of these. They won't be around long.
