Milan striker Alexandre Pato has revealed he will talk to Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti before committing his future to the Rossoneri.
Reports in the English Press suggest Ancelotti wants the 19-year-old to follow him to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Pato has a great deal of respect for Ancelotti, who trained him at Milan over the last two years, which were his first in Italy.
On being asked if he would stay at San Siro, Pato replied: “Slow down. Nothing has yet been decided.
“At the end of June, after the Confederation Cup in South Africa, I will meet Milan's directors and we will speak about my future.
“But before then, I will speak with Ancelotti. He is an extraordinary man. It's thanks to Ancelotti I have been able to emerge at Milan and in Italian football.
“Before deciding my future, I want to speak with him,” Pato revealed before explaining why he hadn't done so before leaving to go on international duty.
“Because on the Sunday of Fiorentina-Milan I was stopped for an anti-doping test. I wanted to embrace him and to clarify some things with him.
“He is very happy at Chelsea. They are a great of European football. It's an honour to be held in high regard by a club like Chelsea.
“Anyway, I repeat. Before meeting Milan's directors, I will speak with Ancelotti. My future will be clear at the end of the June,” he said.
Pato then gave his opinion on Kaka, who left Milan for Real in the early hours of this morning for a world record transfer fee of £64m.
“I hope he is happy in Madrid, but I cannot wish him well in the Champions League. I want to conquer that myself.
“We lose a lot [with his departure]. But Milan isn't only Kaka. There is a great group and there is a phenomenon like Ronaldinho.
“He is another one of my idols. Ronaldinho can do great for Milan and also for the Seleçao. In Brazil they await him with open arms,” Pato concluded.
