As a possible workaround, please consider performing a factory reset on your device and see if this would correct the issue that occurred. But by doing so, it will erase everything on your phone such as your contacts, pictures, music, applications and settings. Resetting the operating system will clear all glitches and bugs that have developed and restore the software to factory standard. Please backup your files before performing this procedure.
From Home screen, tap APPS > SETTINGS > GENERAL tab (if applicable) > BACKUP & RESET > FACTORY DATA RESET > RESET PHONE.
OR
1 Turn the phone off.
2 Press and hold the following keys at the same time: Volume Down Key + Power/Lock Key.
3 Release the Power/Lock Key only when the LG logo is displayed, then immediately press and hold the Power/ Lock Key again.
4 Release all keys when the Factory hard reset screen is displayed.
5 Press the Volume Keys to highlight Yes, then press the Power/Lock Key to continue.
6 Press the Volume Keys to highlight Yes, then press the Power/Lock Key once more to confirm.
7 Your device will perform a factory reset.
Should the issue still persists, it might be necessary to send your phone to our repair facility to have our technicians inspect it and perform any necessary repairs or have it replaced under warranty if necessary. The initial assessment, diagnosis, repair and shipping the device going back to you would take 7 to 9 business days once we received your device.
Warranty service for all LG phone has 12 months from the purchase date of the phone or 15 months from the manufacture date of the phone.
