It's set some time in the future _ when Europe has become infested by the plague and has turned into a large desert. FIls is not a National state, but a real one. My figues (...) stand for power and for influence. They are scientifically intelligent and not dogmatic. They are aimless, decadent and free of values....
The film relies on the concept that the human psuche always develops and is in a constant state of change. That it is false to think that a problem keep being the same problem or that loe is still anythin' like what we assume love to be or that passion means one thing. People do not stay the same through the centuries.
