no peers for the SF. What a shame

Did you need it Dogaholic. I may have it to seed if you do. I had to pull some off as running out of room on my hard drive but if people want a particular one that I have I am happy to seed it for them till they get it..

Don't know why my original post went way up there you probably wont see it there. I guess I should have clicked on reply to your post in the first instance. Sorry.

Most def Ausgirl. That would be greatly appreciated. You should look into investing in a NAS. That's what i'll be doing when i'm hitched!!
Ausgirl
What is a NAS. i have had a look for it. I think. I am sure I had it but unfortunately I think it is on an external hard drive that I am have problems with the connection. Having trouble getting the stuff of it. There are heaps of games on it. Was keeping it hoping one day somebody could have a look at the connections on it. (where you plug in the usb into the hard drive it is loose.) I will try to get it going and get them off.
I do have it on DVD from another source but it wouldn't work through this upload because it's a copy I got from somebody else not associated with this site.

A NAS is sort of like a USB HDD but you connect to it over a network cable instead of a USB cable. If the connector to your USB HDD is the problem you might be able to take the actual HDD out of the enclosure and connect to another one or even to a internal connector inside your PC (assuming it is not a laptop of course )
Ausgirl
mmmm ok so if I pull it apart and put the actual hard drive into my pc that might work? I can do that. Have built a pc but have never put an extra hard drive in. I am sure I could probably work it out
Grassy
Yep, you will need to connect a data and a power cable. There should be a spare power cable from the power supply inside the PC and there is is only one way it will connect to the HDD (so don't worry, you cannot connect it the wrong way (well at least not without using a hammer and lots of swearing

).
For the data cable you will need a "SATA" cable (unless it is a really old HDD in which case you will need a "IDE" cable) and there is also only one way it will connect to the HDD, the other end will plug in to a connector on the main PC system board (just look for where the PCs HDD already connects to, there should be some spare SATA connectors). If you don't have one of these cables spare, if you have a CD/DVD drive in the PC it might be a SATA type as well so you can temporarily use the cable from that to connect to the HDD to copy off what you need.

Cheers Grassy. I am pretty sure there is a SATA cable in there. From memory but if there isn't it won't be such a big deal to get one. The computer is 3 years old. I have seen the IDE's in the old machines at tafe. mmmmmm SATA is much easier. I think I might just try putting the hard drive in there and leaving it in there. I could do with the extra space. I keep filling up my hard drives.
mmmm not sure how it will go. I have pulled it apart and the connector part is very loose. Will give it ago. At least it is not going to move around inside my computer

Sorry I tried but the hard drive that I have in the computer is much larger than my external hard drive which means there is nowhere for it to sit securely in the computer. The connector is different (unless there is something else that I have to pull of the external hdd.
hahaha scratch that I last bit about the connector. being different. I just built a bit of dutch courage and pulled another piece off the external one and found the right connectors but unfortunately no where for it sit in my comp. Don't know why the one in my comp is so much bigger I am pretty sure they are both 500 gb hdd.
Anyways never mind when I can afford it I will get another hdd and transfer it over. Unfortunately I can't at the moment. I am happy to get a copy of the dvd of this game to whoever can upload it if that helps
