Over the past few years the strange, surrealist music of Ergo Phizmiz has jumped everywhere from multiple album releases, hours and hours of radio work, film soundtracks and odd (to say the least) live performances, it's creator coming to be regarded as one of "the leading exponents of plunderphonics" (Sackbut Blues). He makes music out of just about anything, from large scale and complex sound collages (most recently the acclaimed 12 part series "Sticky White Glue" for Resonance FM) to idiosyncratic, daft and often beautiful songs (usually showcased in his live performances and albums) to multimedia works of Flash, audio and video (hosted online at Ubuweb).
His most recent projects have been collaborations with People Like Us & Xper Xr for the EP of colliding religious music "Gongexeva"; the controversial plunderbuss acoustic attack of the album "Ergo Phizmiz & His Orchestra plays Aphex Twin"; and a collaboration with the world's only singing entomologist Irene Moon on the EP "Pangolin Variations".
