This has automatic calibration, and can be correlated to Photo Research and other "reference" sensors. The upgrade of the 246 from previous will be a 2X 3D LUT, HDMI (So you can port SDI easily) and LED backlight. And finally a lower black.
All monitors can do film, camera display and mobile device emulation (by applying LUT's).
The SX is a very strong monitor class but lacks the Presets (REC709, PE, etc) frequency range and color measurement capability. (CC:d here)
