NATO foreign ministers preparing to meet in Brussels this week will find one of the items on the agenda is whether to push forward Georgia's request to join the alliance.
Almost four months after the brief but fierce conflict with Russia over south Ossetia, Georgia is looking for strong backing from NATO, that its ambitions to join are still on track.
Eka Tkeshelashvili is Georgia's foreign minister. Is it time for Tbilisi to acknowledge that the summer war with Russia was a strategic mistake from which it may take years to recover?
She talks to Stephen Sackur.
