Well, we got the 5 points, which wasn't going to be easy against one of the best up and coming nations. The Georgian number 7 was brilliant along with the rest of their pack!
I thought the ref was very good today. He was really on top of our constant stupid fouls at the ruck. Why the hell are they continuing to give away those stupid penalties?! I hope Johnson lays into them, otherwise it's going to lose us the game against stronger opposition.
I thought Shaw, Hape, Tuilagi, Armitage, Haskell played well. Lineout was good and scrum came good in the end. The players coming of the bench made a great impact as well. But still loads of room for improvement.
On a side note, what the hell is going on with the kicking in this world cup??? Never known so many kickers missing so many kicks. I was reading the other day that the normal kicking average is 80%, but currently in this world cup it was something like 64%. I know they've said it's not the ball but surely it has to be, but if it is then what can be done about it?

After the critism for the All Black celebrating too much against Japan I expect to see a panning of Chris Ashton's showboating dive scoring against Georgia. What really was there to celebrate, totally over the top of anything the All Blacks did, by a long shot.
On the positive side England got hammered for their constant and mandatory offside and illegal go slow tactics at the breakdown. Georgia were a bit naive keeping onside mostly at the breakdown.
Also positive was Georgia play, I could have expected them to keep the score down by rolling mauls and tight play, but they actually showed some real skills at running and passing and catching, they just did not quite have the extra skill to make it count. I try or a couple of more penalties for Georgia would have been a fairer indication of the score, they had so much territory and long periods of possession, England showing the little extra touch of pace and skill to kill them off

Same as the NZ Japan game I think Georgia would have gained allot more from this then England although it did give Ashton a chance to practise his dives. I don't think he will get many more chances.
Ireland and Wales for me have been the best teams from the north playing a great mix of rugby against tough competition.

You have to say Georgia were impressive throughout this game, not just in the forwards as everyone expected but they had ambition in the backs as well. England did ok, they'll pick some flack up for not posting a Cricket score I'm sure but ran the ball with good ambition. A running game still doesn't look their natural style mind you and the number of penalty infringements [again] must be of concern, luckily for England this RWC is being played with "the unkickable ball" otherwise Georgia would have posted double ..

Thanks to the IRB for giving Georgia such a short turnaround to make life easier for England in the last 20 minutes. Have to say well done Georgia for a great effort and how great it is to see these emerging nations coming on so well - brilliant for rugby. Having said that for an hour England were again woeful, just hope that its sleeping giant syndrome. If we played against the All Blacks as we did for most of this game they would have cut us to shreads and if they wanted put 50 + points on us. Mission accomplished however and we can only improve.

First thing I've got to say - hats off to Georgia. I thought they played very well and deserve the plaudits.
England - better but still loads to work on. Some good, some bad and some just dire.
It's about time England woke up to what's going on and start playing the game without giving away so many penalties. Other teams will punish us for that, and if we continue to give away penalties then we deserve to be punished.
England MUST sort the discipline.
We showed a bit more creativity but there were times when we looked a little lost.
I'm still trying to work out my best 15 and I think Johnson probably is too.
I think Thompson and Croft should start, and I'm still not convinced by Haskell.
I find myself expecting better from him.

If Georgia had a kicker this would have been much more interesting. For the first 60 minutes, they were better than England. England have to be worried about the amount of penalties at the breakdown and in the scrum. On the flip side, Flood really helped the back line put some plays together despite a stuttering pack. Why is he not the first choice?

For Georgia - just 3 clear days between match against Scotland; England 8 days - of adventure sports and shagging about in bars.
6 tries to 1 with 50% possession, but overall I'd give that a 3/10 - there was no 'statement' in that England performance. They'll need to improve v Romania and Scotland.

Phew now you all know why i rate GEORGIA lol made life very hard for England in the 1st half .Iam happy though England cut loose in the 2nd half still misfiring though and disapline needs to be alot better. That was annother cracking match though hats off to Georgia along with Samoa i think the best tier 2 teams at the RWC never gave in and that on a 4-5 day turnaround for Georgia .Long may these cracking games continue best RWC yet by miles imo
