После отхода из Дробышево и Ямполя оборона ВС РФ выстроена по окраинам Лимана и буферной зоне вокруг дороги Лиман — Заречное — Торское. ВСУ пытаются окончательно перекрыть коридор, однако российские войска пока успешно отражают удары.
По предварительным оценкам, в наступлении на Лиман задействованы не менее шести тысяч украинских военнослужащих и иностранных наемников. Бронетанковые группы пытаются продвинуться со стороны Дробышево, Ставок, Диброво и Ямполя на сам Лиман.
Со стороны Торского ВС РФ перебросили подкрепления, в том числе — артиллерию, РСЗО и бронетехнику. Под Ямполем и севернее Лимана идут встречные маневренные бои.
К северу от Заречного украинские военные при поддержке бронетехники попытались войти по дамбе через реку Жеребец в Терны, но были выбиты оттуда подошедшими частями ВС РФ и отошли на западный берег в Ивановку.
С целью усилить натиск ВСУ спешно перебрасывают подразделения из-под Северска и Соледара, резервы из Славянска и Краматорска. Им приходится отчасти оголять Соледарское направление, где наступают подразделения «ЧВК Вагнера», НМ ЛНР и ДНР .
Обстановка остается крайне напряженной, однако пока ВС РФ по-прежнему контролируют Лиман и сдерживает наступление ВСУ. Если союзным силам удастся сдержать натиск, отстоять город и нанести большие потери атакующим украинским силам, то российские войска фактически перехватят инициативу. В таком случае ситуация на фронте может кардинально измениться.
After retreating from Drobyshevo and Yampol, the Russian Armed Forces' defenses are lined up along the outskirts of Liman and the buffer zone around the Liman-Zarechnoye-Torskoye road. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to permanently block the corridor, but the Russian forces have so far successfully repelled the blows.
According to preliminary estimates, at least six thousand Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries are involved in the attack on Liman. Armored groups are trying to advance from the direction of Drobyshevo, Stavok, Dibrovo and Yampol to Liman itself.
From the direction of Torsky, the Russian Armed Forces moved in reinforcements, including artillery, MLRS and armored vehicles. Counter maneuvering battles are taking place near Yampol and north of Liman.
To the north of Zarechnoye, the Ukrainian military, supported by armored vehicles, attempted to enter Terny via a dam across the Zherebets River, but were dislodged by approaching Russian Armed Forces units and withdrew to the west bank to Ivanovka.
In order to strengthen the onslaught, the AFU hastily moved units from near Seversk and Soledar and reserves from Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. They have to partially denude the Soledar direction, where units of the Wagner PMCs, the People's Republic of Donetsk and the Donetsk People's Republic are advancing.
The situation remains extremely tense, but so far the Russian Armed Forces continue to control Liman and hold back the advance of the AFU. If the allied forces manage to hold back the onslaught, defend the city and inflict heavy losses on the attacking Ukrainian forces, the Russian forces will actually seize the initiative. In such a case, the situation on the front could change dramatically.
