#1 We will learn more about Nan Flanagan. He(alan)loves the contrast between the public face she shows as the spokesperson for vampire rights and
the person she truly is when she appears in a more private setting.
#2 TV Guide’s Mickey O’Connor has some juicy information straight from Alan Ball for True Blood fans regarding Bill Compton’s (Stephen Moyer) kidnapping. In the Mega Buzz Q&A, viewer Dyan asks how long it will take in Season 3 before we discover who took Vampire Bill. Mickey says:
“We will discover who has Bill right off the bat in Season 3, but it’s going to take the people on the show a little bit longer to find out,” executive producer Alan Ball tells us. Sookie will even consider the possibility that he left of his own volition. “It’s not easy for her,” Ball says. “She feels really bad because she’s not sure whether he just left because he was upset because she didn’t say yes right off the bat. But in her heart she believes he was taken and she doesn’t know who took him. She’s going to fight to find him.”
Sounds like poor Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is in for a tough time next season. Knowing this information, however, still leaves so many unanswered questions for fans. Will she stay true to Bill until she finds him? Will this inner conflict drive Sookie closer to or further away from Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård)? Will she withdraw from romance altogether?

#3 “You know what’s funny is that he’s in the first two books, he’s a fairly minor character in Sookie’s universe,” Tucker said. “There’s a lot of fan pressure that they’re supposed to be this big romantic thing, which actually in Charlaine [Harris]’s books doesn’t happen until much, much further down. I think if we did that, we’d probably bore them all to death. I think part of the magic of Eric is some of the mystery of Eric and the inaccessibility of Eric. I think you don’t want to turn them into the nice romantic love interest who’s in every scene. I think his danger is important so not just throwing him up whenever somebody wants to see his bare chest is actually a more disciplined approach.”
#4 Here's an interview I came across with Alan Ball at a Virginia film festival. He reveals some spoilers for Season 3 (some are obvisiously fake ... but funny).
