TELEMUNDO NOMINATED FOR SIX GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS IN FOUR CATEGORIES
Telemundo, a leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the world, has received six GLAAD Media Award nominations in four categories. The 22nd annual GLAAD Media Awards ceremonies will be held in New York on March 19, 2011 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square; in San Francisco on May 14 at San Francisco Marriott Marquis and in Los Angeles (dates to be announced).

Missing (¿Dónde está Elisa?) for Outstanding Novela
· Caso Cerrado for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show Episode - "La Proposición 8" and "El sida no mata amor"
· Levántate and Al Rojo Vivo for Outstanding TV Journalism-Newsmagazine - "En busca de Emma" (Levántate) and "En el cuerpo equivocado" (Al Rojo Vivo)
· Noticiero Telemundo for Outstanding TV Journalism Segment – “Reconocimiento Nacional"
Telemundo received three GLAAD awards in 2010. The network’s popular Mas Sabe el Diablo was recognized in the Outstanding Novela category, and Al Rojo Vivo’s “Damas gracias: Entrevista con Eva Leivas-Andino" won for Outstanding TV Journalism—Newsmagazine. Additionally, Telemundo’s news division was honored with an award for Oustanding Spanish-Language TV Journalism Segment for Noticiero Telemundo’s "Polémicas Adopciones."
