A. My favourite movie is The Matrix, my favourite actor and actress are Tom Hanks and Christina Ricci, and my favourite directors are James Cameron and Shinya Tsukamoto.

A. Monet.

Q. What is your favourite novel and who is your favourite novelist?
A. My favourite novel is Run, Merosu and my favourite novelist is Shinichi Hoshi.

Q. What are your favourite manga?
A. My favourites are Dragon Ball and Akira.

Q. If you could choose to switch places with a character from Naruto for a day, whom would you choose and why?
A. Naruto. I’d use the Clone Jutsu to finish my work faster!

As one might expect, Nakamura asked about what was upcoming with Sakura

Kishimoto: "Honestly, from the standpoint of showing a female-like disposition, she hasn't been much of a heroine. You could even say that Hinata's more of a heroine than her. But since, as we know, Sakura is a heroine deep inside, she'll show that side of hers from now on."

Naruto's close, but Sakura loves Sasuke as we should expect from that speech. She's being haughty with her using not so kind words against Naruto right afterwards...didn't she? I can't recall.

Yeah it's true, it did sound as though Sugiyama said, "With a Suna person" when Morikubo asked about Shikamaru's love life.

Kishimoto said he didn't want to write that for Shikamaru.

Takeuchi: "Will Naruto become Hokage?" to which Kishimoto said something like "He should become Hokage". This had the audience make noise.

Takeuchi: "Won't Sakura-chan become Hokage before Naruto does?" to which Kishimoto dismissed flatly, "No way!"

Kishimoto announced Naruto will do training.
Takeuchi: "So Naruto will become stronger again."

Next year, Kakashi is the main character
Takeuchi: "It would be a good thing not to tell this to Kazuhiko-san"

The general consensus on everything on 2ch is this:

-Something big is gonna happen with Sasuke and Taka. People seem to think it's something negative in regards to Taka
-Sasuke vs. Naruto will be the last fight of the series
-Large focus on Kakashi next year (many people think he'll die for some reason against Sasuke)
-More Shikamaru (many on 2ch are complaining about this), though there's no desire to entangle him in romance/love

Kakashi was taught how to use the Rasengan by its inventor, Minato Namikaze. As the Rasengan was created with the intention of mixing it with one's elemental chakra, Kakashi tried to infuse the Rasengan with lightning. He failed, so produced the next closest thing: Chidori.

What is the anime that influenced you the most?
Akira.

As you draw the manga, are you influenced at all by the anime version of Naruto?
Absolutely, very much.

Episodes 17, 19, and 30.

Were you a fan of any of the Japanese voice actors before they were involved with Naruto?
Yes, I was a fan of Jyurota Kosugi, who plays Asuma, and Nozomu Sasaki, who plays Hayate.

For which character did you have the most trouble choosing colors?
Naruto.

Who is the voice actor you admire the most?
Akio Otsuka.

In regards to the sound design in the anime production, what was the most memorable?
The series of sounds during Zabuza’s appearance.

Do you watch the anime every week without missing an episode?
Of course!

Who would you be most proud to know watches the Naruto anime?
Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi.

Please tell us about the top-secret episodes you’ve created with the anime production staff!
Oh! I hope we can make some in the future…Right now, there’s nothing to tell (really).

If you were to do a voice for the anime, which character would you like to perform?
Tsunade.

If you were to create an original story for the anime, what kind of story would it be?
I’d want to feature a generous robber like Goemon Ishikawa.

Since Naruto has become an anime, has your level of motivation changed?
I thought, “I have to work even harder. If I take a break, the story on TV is going to catch up to the manga!” I was sweating!

What will happen in the love lives of Ino, Sakura, and Hinata?
I hope something happens! Ha ha!

Which Naruto character is the most fun to draw?
Rock Lee.

If you were to become involved in the anime production, what would you like to be in charge of?
The original-picture guy.

Who are the scariest people involved in the anime?
Tetsuya Nishio and Hirofumi Suzuki (their drawings are so good, it’s scary!).

Do you sing the anime’s opening and ending theme songs at the karaoke?
I haven’t been to a karaoke since the serialization began…eep!

What was the biggest crisis in your life so far?
When a monkey attacked me.

Who is your favorite musician or band?
Oasis.

Naruto's voice actor(Takeuchi-san) brought up that Kishmoto said last year he would write about Kakashi, but he didn't. Kishimoto apologized for that. Kakashi will play an important role now.

As for the other characters? Look for Shikamaru and Chouji to have very important and heroic roles in the war.

No updates on Naruto, Sasuke or Sakura. Naruto's voice actress didn't even talk much about him. She did say she would like to do the voice of his child if he ever has one.

More on Kakashi. KIshimoto said a lot of what he planned for Kakashi will now carry over to this year. He has been very busy planning things,.

Talks about Choji having his dreams come true, and having to protect Shikamaru, after Naruto's voice actress(Takeuchi-san) says something about fulling dreams. (This part was not clear)

Kishimoto works even on holidays. But will be going to Hawaii for a vacation soon. He also likes sweets.
