Arliss Howard Joins True Blood Season 6

- Arliss Howard (Rubicon, Medium) is joining the HBO drama’s forthcoming sixth season in the series regular role of Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell, TVLine has learned exclusively.
- TVLine reports that Arliss Howard has been cast as Creighton Burrell, the Governor of Louisiana, a good ol’ boy politician with a vendetta against vampires after his wife left him and their daughter for a fanger.
~ Howard’s other credits include the films Full Metal Jacket, Ruby, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Moneyball.

Amelia Rose Blaire, meanwhile, will come on board as Willa Burrell, the daughter of Arliss Howard's Governor Truman Burrell and someone who has long clashed with her dad over vampire rights. Her role is recurring.
- Blaire could possibly join the cast as a regular if her recurring role is a success.
