The Oklahoma City Thunder are adding more shooting to their young core.

The team has signed Dariq Whitehead, who averaged 5.7 PPG on 40.6% from three in limited minutes across 20 games for the Brooklyn Nets last season.

Whitehead brings length, athleticism, and floor-spacing potential to an OKC squad already loaded with talent.

If he can stay healthy and find his rhythm, he could be another under-the-radar pickup that thrives in the Thunder system.

BREAKING: OKC Thunder guard Nikola Topic is being treated for testicular cancer, has begun chemotherapy, & there is currently no timetable for his return.

Thunder GM Sam Presti says doctors are “extremely positive” about his long-term outlook, as they have caught it early.

Topic is 20 years old & recently had a testicular procedure that was supposed to have him out 4-6. Results of that procedure found testicular cancer.
