It may of taken 105 days but PEACE is now completely out of Canada after the U.S. made a huge win in Nunavut, one of the last two Hungarian regions in North America. Many F/E nations sent troops to the U.S. to help push back the Hungarians and in the end that turned out to be the difference. The wall sat close to 400k in no mans land for the better part of the day but another last minute tanking operation knocked the wall down substantially and at battles end the wall was well below the conquer line. This victory marks the end of the war in Canada as Hungary, or any other peace nation for that matter, won't attack the original Canadian regions since it would activate MPPs. The U.S. still holds the Canadian regions they took from Hungary, however the U.S. is starting to hand the regions back over to Canada via resistance wars.
With the fall of Nunavut Hungary is down to just one North American region, Alaska. Alaska is a high oil region that will now serve as the main fortress region for Hungarian troops. Currently Alaska has about 1,400 citizens and a wall of about 210,000, that number is expected to rise though as more and more Hungarians will be moving out of Nunavut now that it is under American control. The Canadians had a shot to take Alaska today however the battle came up just a bit short. At the end of the battle in Nunavut the wall in Alaska was about 50K into no mans land with only a few minute left. A great deal of F/E tanks moved into the region to help force overtime but there just wasn't enough time and the wall ended up 7k into no mans land at battles end.
There isn't any offensive in Alaska going on at the moment. While Alaska is still a region America wants to take there is no real rush. Hungary is now stuck, they can't attack Canada or the U.S. since it would activate the MPPs and they can't afford to hold onto Alaska forever. Basically the only real option for Hungary right now is to prepare for a final stand in Alaska and hold it for as long as they can. Hungary does have an advantage in that they win most battles when F/E doesn't tank like crazy, but with just one more region to go to end the war, it isn't very likely that F/E will hold anything back in the coming days.
