Place a match order for your first match by going to the 'Matches' page and clicking on the 'Order' icon next to the upcoming match on the list.
Deciding on match orders is an art as well as a science - you have to learn it step by step. For your first game, at least try to make sure your best players are on the field, and in the right positions.
Here is a short guide to the most important skills in Hattrick and in what positions you make best use of them:
Goalkeepers - Goalkeeping
Defenders - Defending
Inner Midfielders - Playmaking
Wingers - Winger
Forwards - Scoring
You will be able to change formation, team attitude and tactics when you have completed assignment 15. Until then though, including the match in this assignment, you will play with four defenders, two inner midfielders, two wingers and two forwards.
