კნიდოსის სკოლა უძლიერესი იყო, მას ქონდა შესწავლილი ბაბილონის, ეგვიპტეს მედიცინა და ანვითარებდა ნამდვილ მეცნიერულ მიდგომას მედიცინაში
კნიდოსის სკოლის წარმომადგენლები თვლიდენ რომ მედიცინა მათემატიკურად ზუსტი უნდა იყვეს , ალგორითმირება მისი შესაძლებელია და მართლაც აკეთებდნენ ყოველივე ამას
ჰიპოკრატეს კოსის სკოლა ამის საპირისპიროდ ამტკიცებდა რომ მედიცინა -ხელოვნებაა , ამარტივებდა მიდგომებს, დიდ როლს ანიჭებდა ეთიკას და ცხოვრების წესს და არა მკურნალობას .
გაიმარჯვა სწორედ ამ გამარტივების გამო, მაგრამ ის რომ წამლები ეფექტიურია მსგავსების და საწინააღმდეგოს პრინციპით დანიშნული და სხვაც არსებობს (ალოპათია, ალო-განსხვავებული )
მაგრამ უაზრობაა ეს ესმოდა, ასე უტვინო არ ყოფილა და ეს მის ტომებში წერია და აქაც ინტერნეტში მოგცემ ბმულებს

В сочинении “О древней медицине” эта мысль изложена следующим образом: “…и следует тому, кто захочет правильно лечить, помогать теплом через холодное, холодному посредством теплого, сухому посредством влажного и влажному через сухое.… В самом деле, если вредит одно из них, то подобает облегчить противоположным…”
“…Иной случай: болезнь произведена сходным, и сходным же, которое заставили принять, больной от болезни переходит к здоровью.… Если человеку, у которого рвота, дают пить в изобилии, то со рвотой он освобождается от того, что заставляет его рвать; таким образом, рвотой уничтожается рвота.… И если бы так было во всех случаях, то все было бы понятно и лечили бы то противоположными средствами, то подобными, сообразуясь с природой и происхождением болезни…” Эта идея оказалась вспышкой человеческого озарения. Принцип “подобного” в медицине оказался намного сложнее принципа “противоположного”.
Трактаты по хирургии Гиппократа заставляют задуматься: медицина — это не просто Мастерство, это — Искусство. Даже в наши дни далеко не каждый хирург способен делать сложные перевязки, прогнозируя при этом, на какой день, в каком месте и насколько спадет отечность тканей и каков конечный прогноз.

Hippocrates, the father of medicine, was the first to utilize the law of similars in Western culture. In fact, the word "homeopathy" is a Greek derivative. He also happened to give us the "Hippocratic Oath" sworn by all physicians at medical school graduation. Hippocrates, and later others, reasoned and demonstrated that a substance producing a particular symptom in a healthy person would stimulate the body to remove that symptom in a sick person. Hippocrates used homeopathy extensively and 15th century physician Paracelsus documents homeopathic medicines.

Maybe its this part below, that the more science minded have a problem with. If one does not agree that there is more levels than just the physical, then it would seem nesxt to impossible to have any useful discussion about it.
