Слухи о таинственном китайском истребителе J-10 ходят в авиационном мире уже несколько лет. Нельзя сказать, чтобы сей аэроплан приковывал внимание экспертов всего света, которые давно и прочно порешили: J-10 - это китайский "Лави". Работы по созданию истребителя "Лави" израильская фирма IAI вела, и вела успешно, в 80-е годы. Программу пришлось закрыть в 1988 г. в результате сильнейшего прессинга со стороны США, которые опасались появления на мировом рынке военной техники опасного конкурента самолету F-16. Документацию на истребитель Израиль продал в Китай.
Первые снимки истребителя J-10 появились в интернете в конце 90-х годов, они имели исключительно плохое качество. Сообщалось, что по крайней мере один китайский любитель авиации отправился в места не столь отдаленные за размещение снимков во "всемирной паутине". Анализ известных снимков позволяет говорить о значительном ближневосточном влиянии на внешний облик машины, однако J-10 - не "Лави"! При общей компоновке киль китайского истребителя имеет большую площадь, несколько другая форма у подфюзеляжного воздухозаборника, крыло и фюзеляж - иные.
Российский вклад в конструкцию "поднебесного" истребителя четвертого поколения не так заметен, как израильский, но куда более значителен. Самолет оснащен одним двигателем Люлька-Сатурн АЛ-31ФН тягой 12 500 кгc. В отличие от двигателей АЛ-31, установленных на истребителях Су-27, движок для J-10 имеет нижнее расположение коробки приводов. Глазами самолета является российская РЛС - "Жук-10ПД" или "Жемчуг". Руками - ракеты воздух-воздух Р-73, Р-77 и китайская копия PL-8 израильской ракеты "Питон-3". Вооружение размещается на 11 внешних узлах подвески. Помимо ракет воздушного боя в арсенал самолета входят корректируемые авиабомбы с лазерным наведением, управляемые ракеты воздух-поверхность китайского производства, свободнопадающие авиабомбы. Встроенное вооружение -1 пушка калибра 23 мм. В кабине установлено катапультируемое кресло К-36П. Приборное оборудование выполнено на современном уровне: три больших цветных многофункциональных индикатора, боковая ручка управления, нашлемный прицел (последний является копией системы киевского завода "Арсенал", по другим данным - нашлемный прицел разработан израильской фирмой Элбит). Самолет оснащен электродистанционной системой управления, вероятно, он статически неустойчив по каналу тангажа.

US Air Force developed PHaSR gun to immobilize attackers

U.S Air Force has added one more high-end weapon in its artillery. After undergoing almost forty years of detailed engineering the new chaos creating weapon is finally developed to start its operations wherever required by the authorities.
The newly designed weapon is not based on other destruction striking weapons to completely destroy the targets but the idea that arouses behind the development of this unique weapon is to simply control the hostile crowds and perimeter defence at check points.
This Personal Halting and Stimulation Response or PHaSR gun stops people in their tracks by releasing a sparkling nonlethal beam of laser light to create temporary blinding effect that is very much similar to walk out from a dark movie theater into the bright sunshine.
It weighs equal to a fully loaded M60 machine gun and is specifically meant to stop attackers.

Excalibur: GPS guided artillery developed by Raytheon

Raytheon has developed the first of its kind GPS guided artillery which is ready for deployment in Kuwait after 8 years of research and development.
The artillery was tested in Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona. During the test 13 out of 14 managed to hit targets with only 10 meters of error when fired from a distance of 24 km, even when it was aimed 15 degrees off target.
But the major concern for anything that runs on GPS signals is that these signals can be easily hampered by clouds and rain.

US Navy developing non-lethal 'Vomit Beam'

US Navy has also started researching on non-lethal weapons.
They are now developing a non-lethal ‘Vomit Beam’ that can temporarily stun the target.
The weapon shoots an invisible wall-penetrating beam that makes the target so dizzy that they puke.
The company which is researching the device is touting that it is a ‘Star Trek hand-held Phaser Weapon set on Stun’. But according to me it can also be set on ‘Puke’.

China develops J-10 stealth fighter

China has been working on increasing its defense power. Initially the company blinded a U.S. satellite with a laser, and then they destroyed a satellite more than 500 miles up and now the country officials are spending the most in five years in defense.
The result of this is a new J-10 stealth fighter. This is the country’s first indigenous state-of-the-art fighter jet.
The machine is a single-seat and single-engine plane that can reach a speed of Mach 2. The country officials also commented that the jet is thought to be the equal of just about every other fighter in the world. The only exception is America’s new F-22 Raptor.
China is also sending this new jet to Russia where current and former Red militaries will team up in joint exercises.
China has also started working on the upgrade of this new jet with new jets named J-12 and J-13 in the development phase.
