Commission rules Samsung infringed Apple's patents
Apple scored another victory in its ongoing legal battle with smartphone competitor Samsung.
The International Trade Commission ruled Friday that Samsung had violated some of Apple's patents in its mobile products including older Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
In particular, the ITC found that Samsung had infringed upon Apple's technology that tracks users' finger movements on Smartphone touchscreens.
Samsung is expected to appeal. President Obama has 60 days to invalidate the order.
That's notable because last week, the Obama Administration vetoed an earlier ITC order banning Apple from selling older iPhones and iPads distributed by AT&T after the commission ruled that Samsung's patents had been violated.
