კრისტეფორ უოკენი( Christopher Walken ) დაიბადა 1943-წლის 31 მარტს. ქუინზში (ნიუ იორკო) ერთ ერთი ყველაზე აქტიური მსახიობი თავის თაობაში. მის ნათქვამს თუ დავუჯერებთ იგი არცერთ როლზე უარს არ ამბობს... მისი აზრით მისი ყოველი როლი მისთვის როგორც ახალია. უკვე რამოდენიმე წელია იგი წელიდადში დაახლოებით 5 ფილმში იღებს.. ფილმებმა მისი მონაწილეობით შეაგროვეს დააახხლობეით 1.8 მილიარდი $ და ცოტა მეტი .
იგი ბავშვობიდანვე იღებდა მონაწილეობას ტელესერიალებში. 1961 წელს მან ჩააბარა უნივერსიტეტში.. აქ მისი კლასელი იყო ლაიზა მინელი. თუმცა 1 წლის შემგედ მან სწავლას თავი დაანება. რამოდენიმე ხანი იგი წვრთნიდა ლომებს..
1966 წელს მეგობრის რჩევით მან შეიცვალა სახელი და გახდა კრისტოფერა.( მაქამდე მას ერქვა რონალდ)
პირველად იგი კრიტიკდა თვალში მოხვდა.. ფილმში Annie Hall 1977-წელს სადაც თამაშობდა ეპიზოდურ როლს.
მისი მომდევნო ნამუშევარი იყო The Deer Hunter.. რომლისთვისაც მან მიიღო ოსკარი როგორ საუკეთესო მეორეხარისხოვანი როლისთვის.
იგი ასევე იყო ოსკარზე წარდგენილი ფილმისათვის Catch Me If You Can ...
ასევე მან ითამაშა ეპიზოდურ როლი ტარანტინოს Pulp Fiction-ში.
1998- წელს გამოვიდა ფილმი Sleepy Hollow მისი შესრულებით.. სადაც ასევე არიან კრისტინა რიჩი და ჯონი დეპი...

და ძალიან დამწყდა რომ მან ამ ფილმისთვის ოსკარი ვერ მიიღო...

და გუშინ ვუყურე The Deer Hunter( აქამდე არ მქონდა ნანახი)
და უბრალოდ ისეთი დამგრუზა ამ ფილმმა,, უოკენის გმირმა(ნიკმა) ხო საერთოდ... ჯერ მისმა თამაშმა მგონი დენიროც დაჩრდილა.. მგონი კი არა მე ასე მგონია...
და ზუსტად ეს მიზეზია იმისა რო მე ეს თემა გავხსენი
