Keira Knightley Nude? No Problem, Says Actress
According to People, Keira Knightley, who strips down for her upcoming film The Edge of Love (another period romance - surprise, surprise), has no problem getting naked on camera:
“I always bare my breasts,” she said at the press conference to promote The Edge of Love Wednesday at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. “It’s not like it’s only in this film!”
No, it’s not, which a quick Google Images search can confirm… and the Pirates of the Caribbean actress most recently took it all off for last year’s Atonement (I knew there was a reason it was nominated for so many Golden Globes!).
In The Edge of Love though, “It was very simple. It was a sex scene and I never like them when they’ve got bras on.” So when the director asked her to remove her bra, “I said, ‘All right then.’ ”
Now that’s refreshing! If only more actresses were as easy as Keira… You know, ones that actually had something worthwhile to show off.
