Biography:
His name is Garum and he is the last surviving member of his family. Garum grew up on Taris, he had heard stories about the old Taris and the cities with tall buildings which all got destroyed during the bombardment by the Sith, he has also heard the stories about the Rakghoul, creatures that were once human, but turned into monsters if infected and Garum was warned to never leave the territory outside the settlement, but like all children - Garum was curious, he wanted to see what these Rakghouls looked like, he feared them, but curiosity was stronger and made him make a decision which would forever change his life, he stepped outside the settlement and started walking around the swamp, he heard her mother calling him, but pretended like he didn't and then he saw one, he saw a Rakghoul, covered in blood and dirt, feeding on a rotting corpse, 8 year old Garum couldn't hold his emotions when looking at a creature so horrifying and he screamed, his Mother was nearby, searching for Garum and she heard his screaming, she rushed to him and saw that a Rakghoul was charging at Garum, she jumped in front of the creature and took a deadly blow in the head by it's claw and died instantly, then the Rakghoul looked at Garum who was shocked by what just happened and continued to charge at him, but Garum acted quickly, he saw a debris lying on the ground, he took it and pierced the creature with it, the creature screamed in anguish and fell, Garum gathered up his energy and carried his mother's deceased corpse back to the settlement. After that day everything changed, he knew it was his fault, but he swore to kill every Rakghoul he sees.
Garum started training on the Settlement's training grounds, he learned to shoot with precision and to fight in melee combat with a Vibroknife. At an age of 18 he applied and joined the Republic Army, to this day he serves the Galactic Republic.
