Dutch Keeper Happy To Lend His HandsCOMEBACK keeper Tim Krul says is hoping to go out on loan next season as he looks to get some first-team experience under his belt.
The 19-year-old played his first competitive match since his heroics in Palermo in November when he turned out for United's Juniors against Wolves on Saturday.
Krul came through the full 90 minutes of the 2-1 victory having not kicked a ball since damaging his cartilage during the warm-up before United's Carling Cup game against Watford nearly six months ago.
And, having made his only senior appearance in the 1-0 UEFA Cup win against Palermo, Krul is hoping to further his development by going out on loan next term.
"It was great to play last week for the Juniors having been out for so long and I felt good," Tim told nufc.co.uk.
"There are no problems with the injury, in fact, I feel I've come back stronger because I've done a lot of work on my upper body.
"My plan is to continue to work hard over the summer and hopefully go out on loan next season to get some more experience, although nothing is definite."
The Dutch youngster is set to join up with the Holland Under-19s squad next week when they will play three European Championship qualifiers in England.
And Krul added: "It will be good to link up with the Holland team and I'm looking to get some more games then."
