Kevin Doyle feels Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to run away with the player of the year awards.
Ronaldo has enjoyed his best season to date with The Red Devils and has chipped in with 15 goals for the Premiership leaders.
The Portugal international's performances have impressed Doyle, who has caught the eye himself in his debut season in the top flight for Reading.
The striker has confirmed where his vote will be going and feels there is only one contender for the major individual prizes this season.
"I'll be voting for Ronaldo," said Doyle. "He's one of the top scorers and plays on the wing, so he deserves it.
"There was a lot of pressure on him this season and he gets a lot of stick everywhere he goes. So to play that well he definitely deserves it.
"He has been the best player who has played against us and you see him every week. It doesn't matter who he is playing against, he is always creating, scoring or doing something.
"He will run away with it and deservedly so."
Reading head to Old Trafford for an FA Cup fifth round tie on Saturday and feels the two bosses on show are the main candidates for the manager of the year accolade.
Doyle added: "If Manchester United do win the league it is probably fair Sir Alex Ferguson gets it, but if not and we can stay in the top half then our manager (Steve Coppell) would definitely deserve it.
"He can get a lot of free signings, or not spend a lot of money, and get a side playing well together. When players get injured there is always someone who comes in to take their place.
"He just seems to be able to pick the right players. It is not a fluke, this year - Crystal Palace were third in the league under him and got to the cup final."
