The experienced triumvirate - who have amassed 1701 appearances and 20 Premiership winners' medals between them, have been in inspirational form so far this season, and Sir Alex feels their know-how will prove telling when the campaign reaches its climax.
"They're great players and they've done it all," he told MUTV. "I think, when the bit comes to the bit, if we're in a challenging position next April, these are the players that have been there before and they'll guide us through."
The Reds moved three points clear at the League summit after victory over Portsmouth and Chelsea's defeat at Tottenham, and Sir Alex has been delighted by the season so far.
Eleven games have brought nine wins, and the Boss claims such an opening was imperative for United to harbour genuine hopes of notching a sixteenth League title.
"It's fantastic, it's a really good start," he conceded. "We needed that because Chelsea have set a benchmark over the last two years and that's helped them to win the Leagues.
"Historically we don't always have good starts but we've had one this year and we want to take advantage of that. There's a long way ahead, we're only a third of the way, but hopefully we can stay clear of major injuries - that's important.
"The lads who've come in when we have had injuries have done extremely well, which proves there's a good spirit in our squad. They're all showing a great keenness."
