Juventus have officially completed the signing of Jorge Andrade, while Livorno, Roma and Palermo also announce transfers.
While the Portuguese defender had been in Turin since last week to undergo a medical and discuss terms, only this evening has Andrade put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
The official Juventus website confirmed that Deportivo La Coruna will receive £6.7m for the player, which will be split into three instalments concluding on July 1, 2009.
In other transfer news, Palermo have loaned winger Mariano Gonzalez to Porto with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
The Argentine had spent last term at Inter in a similar contract situation, but his option was not taken up.
Livorno have improved their midfield with the arrival of Verona’s 23-year-old Nico Pulzetti.
Roma have sold interesting youth product Valerio Virga to Grosseto. Although only 21, he has already played for the Giallorossi in Serie A and the Champions League.
