Ronaldo Return Delayed Yet Again
The return from injury of Milan star Ronaldo has been put back once again, but the striker insists that he is almost ready.
zoom - galleria El Femomeno has yet to play this season due to a long-running injury saga but had been expected to make his comeback during this Sunday’s clash with Empoli.
“He’s nearly back and we’re working on it, but I don’t think it will be Sunday,” Galliani admitted.
The ex-Inter man annoyed his club last month after flying out to Rio de Janeiro to see Brazil national team doctor Jose Luiz Runco and personal physiotherapist Bruno Mazziotti.
The two medics subsequently claimed that the Milan medical team had given the star the wrong form of treatment, and this did not go down well with the Rossoneri hierarchy.
“Some mistakes have been made in the past and we don’t want them repeated,” Ronaldo stated.
“I’m nearly ready and I just need calm because I have heard a lot of untrue statements recently.”
The 31-year-old signed for Milan from Real Madrid in January of this year and made an excellent start to his career, scoring seven goals in his first 14 appearances.
