Barça Include Keita In Alves MoveBarcelona have told Sevilla that they want to include Seydou Keita in the deal that will see Daniel Alves move to Camp Nou and have offered €35m for the pair. That amount has been dismissed by the Andalucian outfit with club president José Maria del Nido putting his valuation of the pair closer to €45m.
Talks are set to continue after Blaugrana technical secretary Txiki Begiristain opted to make the move for Keita having only previously seen him as a possible signing.
Although the Mali international's buy-out clause is €15m, Barça have made a separate offer of €10m which was rejected and have now attempted to include him their move for Alves.
A fee of around €25m looked set to tempt Sevilla to finally part with the Brazilian full-back after the player had already agreed personal terms with the Catalan giants.
The inclusion of Keita in the deal will certainly mean that more talks are needed and could give time for more clubs to become involved in the bargaining with Del Nido.
Barcelona were hoping to steal a march on any potential rivals for the players' signatures, but they will have to dig deep if they want to clinch the deals before next week.

Barça Want €25m Alves Deal DoneBarcelona are hoping to conclude a deal to sign Daniel Alves from Sevilla in order to present him next week, but they are yet to have a response to their latest bid of €25m.
The Blaugrana president, Joan Laporta, is keen to start the revamp of the club quickly and after having their first offer knocked back, resumed talks yesterday.
Sevilla know that they cannot block Alves' departure this summer after stopping him from going to Chelsea last year, despite the Blues offering around €36m for his services.
Laporta knows that he needs a big gesture to placate irate fans and views the capture of Alves as a big step towards calming the waters at the end of a troubled season in Camp Nou.
The player himself has made it clear that he wants to join the Catalan giants and is believed to have already agreed to the personal terms that were put before him last month.
Sevilla supremo José Maria del Nido is a difficult negotiator to deal with, but while remaining steadfast 12 months ago he also listens to sporting director Monchi.
It was Monchi that took Alves to Sevilla for just €848,000 in 2002 and he has now recommended that the club garner as much money as they can for him or risk having a very disgruntled player on their hands.
Real Madrid and Liverpool were also said to be watching the situation, but Barça are in pole position and a transfer could be wrapped up this week meaning that the Brazilian will not play for Sevilla in their final game this weekend.
Alves Preparing For Barça Move
Daniel Alves looks to have played his last game for Sevilla after hinting that he will leave the club in the summer after agreeing personal terms with Barcelona. The Brazilian full-back has concluded a deal with the Blaugrana and is set to remain in Spain after the end of the campaign to be close to the negotiations between the two clubs when they take place.
After the local derby against Real Betis at the weekend, Alves stated that he had thoroughly enjoyed his time at the Sánchez Pizjuán, but knew that one day he would have to leave.
"These have been five brilliant years with Sevilla and I knew that this moment would come. This is my destiny and I have to accept that is how things are," he told Onda Cero radio station.
"I hope to be able to say goodbye to the fans on a positive note."
According to Sport, the 25-year-old has set his heart on being a key member of Pep Guardiola's revolution at Camp Nou and will pen a four-year deal if Sevilla accept the Catalan club's offer.
Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked with the highly-rated full-back, but they all appear to have lost out.
There were reports that Alves was going to join Barça in 2006, a year after a first option clause was given to the Blaugrana after they lent Javier Saviola to Sevilla.
Last summer, Sevilla president José Maria del Nido blocked a huge offer from Chelsea and interest from Real Madrid to keep Alves at the club in their first ever season in the Champions League.
Now that a second consecutive appearance is impossible, Del Nido maybe set to allow one of his star players to leave for the right price.
