Villa Linked With Camp Nou Move
Valencia striker David Villa may move to Barcelona according to Sport.
The Spanish paper claims the Los Che hit-man will be next in line to sign for the Blaugrana following the captures of Pique, Careces and Alves.
The Blaugrana are currently undergoing some major changes and although Villa has been followed by Real Madrid, Los Merengues may not be able to land him given their determination to bring Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bernabeu.
Villa would be keen on a move to Camp Nou and Pep Guardiola is interested in the player’s incredible ability to find the back of the net week in week out as he tries to assemble a side capable of challenging for major honours following a two year drought.
Valencia have given the player the green light to listen to offers but that will be only after the Euro’s have ended after La Furia Roja asked for tranquillity for certain players who will be involved with summer transfer activity.
Real Madrid were the first club to make contact with the player but Valencia were asking for around €30 million, but Los Blancos seem to have taken a step backwards regarding Villa as they put their efforts on Ronaldo.
Villa has in the past revealed that it would be an honour for him to play at Camp Nou and now it’s up to both the player and clubs to try and reach a deal which may see him wear the Blaugrana jersey next season.

Jose Keen On Eto'o And Deco
Jose Mourinho is looking to swoop for Barcelona duo Samuel Eto’o and Deco according to reports in Spain.
The Blaugrana have already confirmed that their Portuguese playmaker will be leaving and he may end up being snapped up by his fellow countryman, Mourinho, himself newly appointed at Inter.
The former Chelsea coach is a big admirer of the pint-sized midfielder as they worked together and won the 2004 Champions League with Porto and, according to Sport, he is preparing to bring Deco to San Siro.
Mourinho tried to sign Deco when he was in charge of the Blues but failed, and now he has his chance as the player is certain to leave Camp Nou this summer.
Moratti has already met with Barcelona president Joan Laporta with a view to sign the pair.
Laporta at first wanted €65 million for both players but he later reduced that figure to €50m after Moratti revealed he wasn’t prepared to meet him on that deal.
The Nerazzurri chief then tried to whittle it down to €40m, €10 for Deco and the remainder would be for Samuel Eto’o.
With Eto’o a possibility, Zlatan Ibrahimovic may move the other way after being heavily linked with a switch to Camp Nou recently.
