Maarten Stekelenburg - 6.5: Was close to stopping Pandev's penalty and made a good impression throughout the match. Will be the first choice for Holland after the retirement of Van der Sar.
John Heitinga - 7.5: The Atletico Madrid defender was solid defensively and offered something extra going forward. Opened the score and was close to a second goal.
Andre Ooijer - 6: Was replaced after 30 minutes with a hamstring injury.
Joris Mathijsen - 6.5: The former AZ defender is one of the most criticised players in the Holland squad, but did what he had to do against the Macedonian forwards.
Gio van Bronckhorst - 6: Van Bronkhorst, an experienced international player, did not let anybody down but will know that he has to offer more support in attack.
Nigel de Jong - 6: Was supposed to be the starting point of the Holland attacks together with Van Bommel, but was largely anonymous. However, he's the type of player you'll miss when he's not there.
Mark van Bommel - 8.5: Best man on the pitch without a doubt. The leading force for Holland when they took over the initiative after 30 minutes and gave a beautiful assist for the opener.
Robin van Persie - 5: Was the Arsenal man on the pitch this evening? Doesn't belong on the right flank and was unable to show his class whenever he was involved.
Rafael van der Vaart - 6: Was ripe for a substitution in the first half, but miraculously recovered after half time. Clinical finish to gift his side a two goal lead.
Arjen Robben - 7: Fully recovered from his hamstring problem and was Oranje's best attacker before being substituted. However, should have opened the scoring in the first half when he showed up one on one in front of the Macedonian goalie.
Klaas Jan Huntelaar - 3: Will be happy to forget about this match as soon as possible.

Boulahrouz - 7: Came on and was a real rock in the Holland defence, pushing for a starting spot. Kuyt - 6: Looked lively; not scared to take players on. Afellay - n/a: Is definitely a big talent.
