Schweinsteiger considers move abroad
Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has admitted a move abroad interests him.The Germany international's contract with the Bundesliga champions expires at the end of the current campaign.
And with negotiations on a new deal yet to begin, the 24-year-old could be allowed to leave the Allianz Arena on a free transfer.
Interest in the player is reportedly high, particularly from Italy, and a move elswhere is an option Schweinsteiger would consider.
"Playing abroad would be very attractive," Schweinsteiger told Bavarian television.
But he insisted any decision to leave the club he has been with since 1998 would not be taken lightly.
He added: "There are a lot of possibilities with Bayern. They are the best club in Germany and belong to the top five in Europe.
"It is a great honour to play for this club.
"We will just have to see how it pans out. I will not say anything for certain at the moment."
