Versatile Zhirkov, who tends to play left-back for Russia, said: "Clearly we are talking about one of the best clubs in the world, who regularly compete at the highest level.
"It is very possible I would say yes (to Chelsea). But before that I would have to weigh up the pros and cons.
"To sit on the bench and only get on the pitch from time to time doesn't interest me, not even at Chelsea.
"Moreover, I have nothing to lose (by staying in Moscow), given that CSKA now have a very interesting team who will begin competing in the Champions League in the autumn."

Agent opens door to Chelsea move for AC Milan's PatoThe agent of Alexandre Pato has opened the door to a move to Chelsea for the AC Milan striker.
“Milan have to decide Pato’s situation,” agent Gilmar Veloz told Antenna 3 television. “We are enthusiastic about Chelsea’s interest in the player, but the final decision is entirely down to Milan.
“Pato has a contract with Milan, but if the club reached an agreement with Chelsea, then we would be willing to negotiate.”
It is reported Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring The Duck with him to London and the club has offered £45m for the teenage hitman.
“At the moment, I cannot give any guarantees to the fans that Pato will remain at Milan,” warned Veloz.
“I do not own the club and so only a spokesman for Milan can answer that question.”

Chelsea owner Abramovich has always rated Portsmouth's JohnsonChelsea owner Roman Abramovich is delighted to be on the verge of welcoming back fullback Glen Johnson from Portsmouth.
The Blues are set to land Johnson for around £17 million.
One source told the Daily Mail: "He has behaved in a mature manner, as well as improving as a player with regular first-team football.
"Roman always liked him because of his attacking dare as a full back. Jose (Mourinho) did not always agree, but he’s not at the club any more, is he?"

we never lost to Barcelona, although it was unfortunate not to go to Rome, and now we have won the FA Cup, so the second stage of the season has been very positive."
