Inter's search for a player capable of complementing the creative talent of Wesley Sneijder has accelerated so much they now want Antonio Candreva in January.
The Livorno trequartista has been a revelation this season, making his full international debut for Marcello Lippi's Italy squad against Holland last month.

Mourinho has often spoken of his desire to add more Italian elements to his team, as Inter are now infamous for fielding a starting XI solely comprised of foreign players.
Candreva is the subject of an ownership dispute between Livorno and his parent club Udinese.
Livorno claim to part-own the 22-year-old while Udinese believe he is still only on loan after spending last season in Tuscany.

Inter are apparently negotiating a deal with Atletico Madrid for their Argentinian star Sergio 'Kun' Aguero, according to the Catalan Press.
El Mundo Deportivo understands the Nerazzurri want to bring Aguero to Italy in the summer and Atletico are willing to sell in order to ease their considerable financial problems.
Chelsea have already launched a bid in the region of £40m only to see it turned down, but Inter feel they can do a part-exchange deal, swapping Riccardo Quaresma in the process.
Inter were ready to do a deal for the 21-year-old in January but Aguero, who is also Diego Maradona's son-in-law, announced his intention to stay at the Calderon until the end of the season.
Jose Mourinho has reportedly given the deal the green light as he continues his search for a creative player capable of complementing Wesley Sneijder.
The Dutchman has been inspirational since his transfer from Real Madrid, but injuries have limited his playing time, leaving Inter short of ideas going forward.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Inter are ready to join the race to sign want-away Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni.
The Nerazzurri are in the market for a target man capable of leading the line in Samuel Eto'o's absence in January.
They have so far focused their attention on Lazio's Goran Pandev, however, his going to court to rescind his contract with the Biancocelesti is seriously complicating matters.
With existing strikers Marko Arnautovic and David Suazo failing to offer guarantees, Inter have therefore accelerated their position on Toni.
A number of Italian teams, notably Roma and Napoli, have made their interest in Toni known in recent months, but his wages, which total £3m a year until 2011 present a considerable obstacle.
However, according to La Gazzetta, Bayern are reportedly so frustrated with Toni they are prepared to let him leave on a free transfer.
It had been reported that Bayern reached an agreement to sell Toni to Valencia, but the player's desire is that of returning to Italy as expressed last week in an interview with Italian gossip magazine 'Chi'.
Toni has made just one appearance in Bayern's last three games and it appears unlikely that he will feature against Juventus in the Champions League this evening.
