Roma skipper Francesco Totti has been boosted by the news that his injury is not as bad as he anticipated.Totti, 33, suffered a knock to his right knee in the 2-0 win over Parma on Sunday and underwent tests in hospital soon after.
Scans revealed no long-term damage much to the relief of the Italian striker who underwent minor surgery on his knee earlier in the season.
Admitting he had feared the worst, Totti said: "I was scared but I am happy that it is nothing serious.
"I think I will be available when the season re-starts in the New Year."

Totti stressed the importance of heading into the New Year on a high, with the Serie A side extending their unbeaten run to seven games.
Reflecting on what has been a fruitful season for Giallorossi, he said: "It was important to end the year in fourth place.
"Now the standings are on our side and we must begin the New Year with the same rhythm and the same winning mentality.

Out-of-favour Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni is confident he will complete a transfer to Roma in the January window.The Italian has been told he can leave the Allianz Arena for free after falling out with manager Louis van Gaal and he wants to return to his homeland.
It is thought that Toni would boost his World Cup chances by playing in Serie A and his agent, Tullio Tinti, claims to have been contacted by Roma.
Former Fiorentina star Toni admits a move to Italy's capital is not a done deal, with Roma's stock-exchange listing meaning a transfer can only be completed when the financial details are revealed to shareholders, but he has high hopes.
"Nothing is certain yet but I want to move to AS Roma and I will do it," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
