Fabio Quagliarella is handed a three-match ban for using foul and abusive language, but Mauro Camoranesi escapes video evidence punishment.
Napoli striker Quagliarella was sent off for two bookings in quick succession during the 3-2 home defeat to Parma.
He has been banned for three rounds, as he followed up the first yellow card with “foul and abusive language” towards the referee.
Even after the red card had been flashed, Quagliarella continued his protests and is therefore given a heavy ban with 5,000 Euro fine.
Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri was also sent off, but has only been ‘warned’ with a 5,000 Euro fine.
However, assistant Giuseppe Pondrelli is banned for three games from the touchline for his protests.
There were fears Camoranesi would be penalised heavily after he was caught on camera apparently lashing out an elbow at Cagliari’s Daniele Conti.
The incident during Juventus’ 1-0 win on Sunday afternoon cannot, however, be analysed using video evidence.
That is because the referee in his report stated that he had seen the incident and it was “a normal challenge in the course of a game.”
