César Sánchez - 6 - César wasn't bad, but he wasn't great either. Hard to blame him for either goal, but he did flap at a few crosses, and just didn't seem up to his usual standard tonight.
Bruno Saltor - 7 - Good match from the Catalan defender. No mistakes.
David Navarro - 6 - Up and down match. Made some absolutely vital clearances and last ditch tackles, but was a bit slow on a couple of occasions.
Ricardo Costa - 6 - Same as Navarro. Both were slow on the first goal, and hard to blame anyone for the second. Puyol's header was unstoppable and the cross from Xavi was perfection personified.
Jordi Alba - 7 - He ran, ran, ran, and then ran some more. Played at left back, but was all over the pitch, in defense, left wing, right wing, everywhere.
David Albelda - 5 - Slow. If Topal were match fit, he probably would have been a better option.
Manuel Fernandes - 7 - Had a fantastic first half. Had a less than fantastic second half, though you could say that about every VCF player to be honest.
Éver Banega - 5 - Sprayed the ball around nicely in the first ten minutes, but after that, he was reduced to simply running around. He looked rusty after his spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
Pablo Hernández - 6.5 - For the 10 or 15 minutes surrounding his goal, he was excellent. Didn't do much other than that though.
Jérémy Mathieu - 7 - Did well running at the Barca defense in the fist half, but he was clearly tired in the second half, and should have been taken off well before the 83 minute mark.
Roberto Soldado - 5.5 - He hustled and was an annoyance for the Barca defense, but nothing much more than that.
Substitutes
Aritz Aduriz - 5.5 - He had to drop back into midfield to try and help win the ball back. Only saw the ball once in the attacking third of the pitch.
Juan Mata - 5 - Provided nothing.
Vicente Rodríguez - 5 - Provided nothing, though he should have come on much sooner.
