Premier League clubs have been put on red alert as striker Antonio Cassano waits to learn his fate in a court case with his club Sampdoria.
Controversial character Cassano has not played for the club since verbally abusing owner Riccardo Garrone in late October and refusing to attend a dinner.
Samp want Cassano's contract ripped up, while the player insists he has apologised and wants to stay put.
But with a ruling not reached in court on Friday, the case will go to arbitration on Monday - when Cassano could become a free agent.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham have all expressed an interest in the Italy forward in the past, but they could face stiff competition from Serie A giants Juventus and Internazionale, as well as Parma. (Daily Mail)
