Milan Ponder Move For Bayern Munich Midfielder Mark Van Bommel - ReportAccording to a report by Tuttosport, Italian table toppers Milan are considering making a move for experienced holding midfielder Mark van Bommel, currently under contract with German champions Bayern Munich.
The Rossoneri have been in the market for a new midfielder for quite a while now and head coach Massimiliano Allegri supposedly sees the 33-year-old Van Bommel as the perfect addition to his squad.
Van Bommel started his professional career at Fortuna Sittard and also played at PSV and Barcelona before joining Bayern Munich in the summer of 2006. The Netherlands international has since made well over 100 official appearances for the Bavarians and has developed into a key player.
However, Van Bommel's current contract with Bayern Munich expires at the end of the season and the two parties have yet to open talks about a new deal. FC Hollywood appear to be ready to cash in on Van Bommel if a good offer comes in this winter.
The midfielder has previously been linked with Wolfsburg and PSV.
