Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi is eager to lure Real Madrid midfielder Kaka back to San Siro, but head coach Massimiliano Allegri prefers River Plate wonderkid Erik Lamela.
Serie A table toppers Milan are eager to add an attacking midfielder to their squad in the summer transfer window, but the Rossoneri have yet to make a decision on who should be the creative man in midfield next season.
Tuttosport reports that club owner Silvio Berlusconi and general manager Adriano Galliani have set their sights on Real Madrid playmaker Kaka, while head coach Massimiliano Allegri would rather see River Plate youngster Erik Lamela added to strengthen i Diavoli.
Kaka left Milan for Real Madrid in the summer of 2009, but has since failed to make an impact at Santiago Bernabeu.
Berlusconi recently revealed that Milan would welcome back Kaka with open arms, but there are doubts about the Brazil international's fitness. Additionally, the 28-year-old won't be available on the cheap as Madrid are looking to recoup some of the €65 million fee they paid for him two years ago.
Therefore, a move for the 19-year-old Lamela seems more likely. Milan have been keeping tabs on the wonderkid for several months now and he could be available for as little as €15m.
Clubs such as Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Lazio and Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for Lamela, but the young attacking midfielder is believed to be keen on a move to San Siro.
