MANCHESTER United is the most loathed company in Britain, a poll shows.
Twenty-six per cent of people put Sir Alex Ferguson's team at the top of their hate list.
Soccer rivalry and the success and power of the club were blamed.
The next most hated firm was Ryanair, with 23 per cent. People said they can't stand the airline's money-grabbing antics.
British Gas, blamed for hiking prices, was hated by 22 per cent, and fast food giant McDonald's by 19 per cent.
Britain is still seething at the bonuses paid to bankers - with 17 per cent naming RBS and 16 per cent Lloyds as the firms they cannot stand.
They were followed by Starbucks (14 per cent) and BT (13 per cent).
The Online Opinions survey of 1,000 people found banking was the most hated sector, followed by utilities, petrol firms, fast food outlets and public transport.

Manchester United set to play American all-star team in summer friendly
Manchester United could take on David Beckham and Thierry Henry in the same game later this year after agreeing a deal to face the MLS All-Stars at New Jersey’s Red Bull Arena in July.
Summer plans: Manchester United will face the MLS All-Stars team for the second year running.
United defeated the All-Stars, a team comprising of the leading players in the MLS, in a 5-2 victory at Houston’s Reliant Stadium last July in a game marked by Javier Hernandez scoring on his debut for the club following his £7m transfer from Chivas de Guadalajara.
And Sir Alex Ferguson’s team will provide the opposition against the likes of Henry, Beckham and Landon Donovan when they face the All-Stars as part of their pre-season tour of the United States.
United are due to confirm the final details of their summer plans when Ferguson attends a press conference in New York on Tuesday. But plans are understood to be in place for United to launch their trip on the west coast with a game against Seattle Sounders.
United are also due to play in Chicago before ending their trip with a clash against Barcelona in Washington D.C following the All-Stars game.
A crowd of 70,728 turned out for United’s encounter with the All-Stars last summer and they have become the first club to be invited back for a second time for a fixture which is the highlight of the MLS calendar.
United have received offers to visit the Far East this summer, but the club have opted for the States for the second successive year due to Ferguson being hugely impressed by the training facilities on offer to his players last year.
Off the field, the States is also a major market for the club commercially, with shirt sponsor Aon and kit manufacturer Nike both based across the Atlantic.
World Cup performers such as Wayne Rooney and Patrice Evra missed last summer’s tour, but United are expected to take a full-strength squad when they return this year.
“We’re delighted to have been invited to play the M.L.S. All-Star Game for the second year running,” Ferguson said in a statement. “Last year’s game was a special occasion in front of a noisy, passionate crowd. Obviously, we’ll be looking to repeat the performance and the scoreline, but it will be a great spectacle for everyone involved.”
“We are pleased to host Manchester United again for our marquee summer event,” M.L.S. Commissioner Don Garber said in a statement. “Our All-Star Game has become a true celebration of soccer, and our best players look forward to the challenge of competing against one of the top clubs in the world.”
