Arsene Wenger started the morning by stating 'I expect nobody to leave the club' as Cesc Fabregas was fine-tuning his move to Barcelona and Samir Nasri headed ever closer to the exit door.
The Gunners' French boss then claimed Fabregas was missing from today's season-opener at Newcastle because he was 'not match fit', while Nasri was supposedly sick.
By the end of the afternoon, Wenger was trying to get Carlos Tevez.
