Corinthians are no longer interested in Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez, the Brazilian club said on Friday.
The Argentine was handed a two-week ban by the English Premier League club after allegedly refusing to come on as a substitute in his side's 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on September 27.
Corinthians made a 35 million pound bid for an unsettled Tevez in July, but failed to complete the deal.
The club's general manager, Edu, said they had no intentions of signing the City forward.
"At the moment there are no plans to try and sign him again," Edu told BBC.
"I'm starting to think about our new squad for 2012 and I've talked to our coach (Tite) about what we need - but Tevez was not mentioned."
"We are always interested in world class players like Carlos but you need to analyse if it's right for you at that time to try to sign him or not. We have not spoken to him or his agent."
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini said Tevez was 'finished' after refusing to come on as a substitute.
Tevez is expected to return to training with City on Thursday.
