DEL BOSQUE: ´WE ARE CONSIDERING A LOT VILLA’S EFFORT´
Vicente del Bosque has publish today the first list of summoned players for the Poland and Ukraine Eurocup, although we have to wait until the 27th of may to know the definitive one. Nevertheless, the National Team coach has talked about David Villa and the possibility of being at the Euro. “We will decide about Villa on the 27th. We will take the final decision that day. We know about his recovery day by day. We are optimistic. This is a special situation”, Del Bosque has underlined.
Besides, the maximum responsible about Spanish National Team has stressed that “he is getting over of his injury and of course he is able to come to Eurocup. We would decide about this sooner. We are considering a lot his effort and his desire of being here”. Lastly, Del Bosque has remembered that “not every Barcelona, Athletic or Chelsea player are at this list because they are still in competition. And David is at the same situation”.

DR. CUGAT, VERY OPTIMISTIC ABOUT VILLA’S RECOVERY
Dr. Ramón Cugat has shown himself very optimistic about David Villa’s recovery. “We made him last check two weeks ago and we could see that the bone has a callus. Now his recovery depends on his physical tone”, has told Dr. Cugat. Besides, he has also underlined that “he goes up and down mountains, he runs, he is doing almost everything. But we have to wait two or three more weeks and time goes by in favor. If he feels able to play and the National Team coach thinks it too, he must go to EURO”.
According to this, one of the physician who operated Guaje after his injury at the FIFA World Club cup, has explained that “all of us would like to see David playing, but it’s up to him to make a decision about this. It is necessary to understand that he doesn’t play football for some months, and time will tell us if he is ready. We are only doctors, not clairvoyants”.
