West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce will celebrate taking West Ham United back to the Premier League by managing a star-studded England XI for UNICEF's Soccer Aid on Sunday 27 May.

The event sees an England XI take on a Rest of the World XI with both teams fielding a mixture of celebrities and footballing legends. The charity football match is taking place in order to raise much needed funds for UNICEF to help them change the lives of children around the world.

Big Sam told whuf.com that he is delighted to help such a great cause and can't wait for the big day to come around. Since its inception in 2006 Soccer Aid, has raised over £7 million and Allardyce is hoping to add to that total this year.

"I'm going to manage the England side with Peter Reid as my assistant and Bradley Walsh as my co-assistant and I've got some great celebs and old players on my side. I'm looking forward to training them to raise a huge amount for UNICEF once again.

"It's an outstanding day and I've been fortunate to do the commentary and I'm so pleased they've asked me to do the managing job this time around."

Allardyce's team, skippered by singer Robbie Williams, includes comedians John Bishop and Paddy McGuinness plus JLS singers Aston Merrygold and Marvin Humes. Big Sam's footballing legends include former Hammer Teddy Sheringham, veteran striker Kevin Phillips and former England goalkeeper David Seaman.

Kenny Dalglish will be in charge of the Rest of the World XI that includes stars such as Chef Gordon Ramsay, actors Will Ferrell and Michael Sheen plus boxing great Joe Calzaghe. The footballing greats include Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, midfielders Freddie Ljungberg and Clarence Seedorf and striker Hernan Crespo.

The match takes place on Sunday 27 May at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium

"ჯონი შესანიშნავია ფეხბურთელია, დარწმუნებული ვარ მას ყევა მხარს უჭერს. ჩვენ არ გვინახავს დიდი ხნის მანძილზე მისი თამაში ეროვნულ ნაკრებში , რაზეც ძალზედ დაღონებულები ვართ. ტერი ჯერ კიდევ ჩემპიონთა ლიგის მოგებას ზეიმობს და გონზე ვერ მოსულა. ეს სიხარული მეც განმიცდია და იმედია თუ რაიმე გაუგებრობაა ძალიან მალე აღმოიფხვრება."

სტივმა თავის კაპიტნობაზეც ისაუბრა : "ეს ჩემთვის უდიდესი პატივია, მოხარული ვარ რადგან ახალმა მწვრთნელმა როი ჰოჯსონმა ასეთი რთული სამუშაო მე გადმომაბარა. ე.ი თვლის, რომ მე კარგად შემიძლია გუნდის მართვა. როი "ლივერპულშიც" მუშაობდა და ძალიან კარგი ურთიერთობა გვაქვს ერთმანეთთან და ეურო 2012-ზე ერთმანეთის გაგება ალბათ არ გაგვიჭირდება ."
