9/7/2012: Paulo Henrique Ganso has rejected a new contract at Santos and is set to leave the club, according to his agent. Delcir Sonda told Zero Hora: "Ganso will not play for Santos again - that is guaranteed. He could play for Internacional. I am negotiating his purchase from Santos. He wants to leave but stay in Brazil for at least another year." The 22-year-old had been linked to United.
9/7/2012: As reports that Luka Modric only wants to join Real Madrid despite alleged rival interest from United and Chelsea. The player is said to have agreed terms with Real but an acceptable bid has still be made. Tottenham could sign Ricardo Carvalho in part-exchange.
