27/7/2012: Federico Macheda's agent Giovanni Bia has again spoken about the striker's future once again to the Italian media. "Macheda is expected to remain at Manchester," Bia told Sky Sports Italia. "He had an ankle problem but did very well on the tour. Sir Alex Ferguson wants him to stay. Perhaps there were some wrong choices earlier but we hope he can stay."
27/7/2012: Juventus claim Arsenal are pricing them out of a move for Robin van Persie. "Talk of our real interest in him seems excessive to me," director Giuseppe Marotta informed Sky Sports Italia.
