De Gea: Javier's Like My Brother
David de Gea spoke about the close friendship that he has with Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez over the last two years.

As both speak Spanish, De Gea immediately approached Chicharito when he first arrived at United in 2011.

"He’s like a brother to me," he said to Espanol.ManUtd.com. "From the moment I joined the team, I get along really well with him. He is a great person and a good friend. Whomever you talk to, everyone will say the good things about Chicharito."

"It’s good to have him as a companion. Spend a lot of time together, both on the court and off court. Visit each other’s house and go out having dinner together."

As a goalkeeper, de Gea knows how good Chicharito is in front of the goal, since he has proven his ability during training sessions.

"You have to be at your very best to face Chicharito in training and you must really concentrate," said the 22 year old goalkeeper. "He’s a great finisher and scores a lot of goals."
