SCORPION/RATS: Born in 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996. The combination of the Scorpion and the Rat makes for a very shrewd individual, both in business and in personal matters. Don’t try to put one over on him, he will catch you. He is very good with money and has a knack for investments. The Rat fuels the Scorpion’s ambitious nature, but may drive him to bite off more than he can chew. This can cause stress, because the Scorpion is very self-reliant and independent and hates to ask for help. He learns and adapts to situations quickly, however, and will usually manage to find solutions to his problems on his own.
SCORPION/OX: Born in 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997. The Ox’s presence can make for a very obstinate Scorpion, which can make him extremely difficult to deal with. He’ll cut off his own nose despite his face before he gives in to anyone. Despite that, he is a hard worker and very ambitious, and usually succeeds in his career. He is not easily intimidated and will stand up for himself. You don’t want to be around when he loses his temper, for he can be vengeful. He doesn’t like any help– he likes to stand on his own two feet. Romantic partners need to be wary that they don’t make him feel like he is weaker, or dependant, or he will become bitter and resentful and seek to prove he doesn’t need anyone.
SCORPION/TIGER: Born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998. Probably the sexiest combination of the Eastern and Western zodiacs, the Scorpion/Tiger is an erotic, exotic creature that delights in sensual pleasures. He can have a tendency to over-indulge in them if he is not careful. He is very social, and you can’t help but notice him when he is on the prowl. He is very intense and tenacious individual, which can lead him to become fixated on something, or someone. When he finds a person, object or past time that he really likes, he can become obsessed with it. He has a fanatical personality, always doing things to the extreme.
SCORPION/HARE: Born in 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999. While the Hare may seem to cause the Scorpion to lean towards conceit, it is really just a healthy self-confidence that is unshakable. He knows his good qualities and his strong points, and will unabashedly tell you what they are. It’s not that he is vain or egotistical, he is merely very matter-of-fact about himself. The Scorpion/Hare is a highly social creature, well versed in the social graces. He has a very strong will and is a master of self-control. He takes good care of himself and will likely be very health-conscious and very concerned about his appearance.
SCORPION/DRAGON: Born in 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000. The Scorpion/Dragon tends to have admirers lined up at his door, and a string of broken hearts behind him. He is attractive in every sense of the word, though he usually prefers to stay unattached. When he does fall in love, he keeps his partner close and will be very jealous of anything that takes his mate’s attention away from him. He is full of energy and highly accomplished in many areas. He is a creature of action– highly motivated to become great at any undertaking he deems worthy of his time.
SCORPION/SNAKE: Born in 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001. The Snake only adds to the magnetism of the Scorpion, lending him and enigmatic charm. He will be very hard to get to know, and once you think you have him figured out he will prove you wrong. It is wise not to betray the Scorpion/Snake, for he is very vengeful, and will patiently await the opportunity to pay you back. He may have a dark side– he has the potential to be very cold, unfeeling and self-serving, even if it means stepping on someone else to get what he wants. If you win his affection, however, he will be extremely loyal and always look out for your best interest.
SCORPION/HORSE: Born in 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002. With the Horse’s influence, the Scorpion becomes wild and untamed. He is often what is considered a “party animal” and thrives on adventure and excitement. He doesn’t care for anything that will tie him down, and only a partner who is willing to keep up with him will be able to form a lasting relationship with him. Consistency is not his strong point. He will not stay with a job, or a home or even a group of friends for long– as soon as he has had his fun and his interest wanes, he will be ready to move on and seek out his next adventure.
SCORPION/SHEEP: Born in 1919,1931,1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003. The gentle, compassionate Sheep balances out the Scorpion and softens his rough edges. The Sheep makes the Scorpion more aware of other peoples’ feelings and more forgiving of other peoples’ faults. He is of the least social of all Scorpions, and prefers the company of a close group of friends than dozens of acquaintances. He forms longer lasting relationships of all the Scorpions as well, and is less demanding of his partners. He is more giving of himself and more willing to give others the benefit of the doubt. It will still take work to gain his trust, but once you do he will be a loyal companion.
SCORPION/MONKEY: Born in 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004. The Monkey’s influence on the Scorpion gives him a more laid back, playful nature. He loves to flirt, and he loves to tease. He will be most interested in those he sees as a romantic challenge. The fastest way to lose his interest is to let him know too quickly that he has your heart; he may soon grow bored and seek out a new challenge. Don’t act too aloof, however, because he won’t waste his time on a lost cause. The Scorpion/Monkey doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him– he is who he is and he won’t change for anyone. He is often bold and seldom embarrassed. He’s got a good sense of humor, though, and can laugh at himself without fear of insecurity.
SCORPION/ROOSTER: Born in 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005. The Rooster fuels the Scorpio’s tendency to tell it like it is. Because of this, he can be brutally honest to the point of offending people, though he won’t understand why someone might get huffy when he is only speaking the truth. Very sensitive people have a hard time getting close to him because he can easily hurt their feelings without meaning to do so, but will not be apologetic for it. He is a vain creature and likes to stand out in a crowd and be noticed. His tastes are usually quite eccentric– often bordering on the bizarre. If you can put up with his obnoxious behavior, you will usually find him to be quite the entertaining character.
SCORPION/DOG: Born in 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006. The Dog influences the distrustful Scorpion to be extremely protective of himself and of those he holds dear. If you do earn his trust, his loyalty will be unsurpassed by anyone. He is able to balance hard work with fun and relaxation well, and gives his all to whatever he is engaged in at any given moment. He doesn’t like to take chances or risks– he prefers to create a comfortable life in a safe environment where he can feel content. If he is unhappy with a situation, he will grumble and complain until he can change it, which can make him difficult to live with during periods of strife. However, in a crisis, he will always remain strong.
SCORPION/BOAR: Born in 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007. Sincere and calm, the Scorpion born in the year of the Boar is often less sharp and less compulsive than other Scorpios. He is more likely to be passive-aggressive than confrontational, but he still has the tenacity to go after what he wants, and will usually get it. He may not have speed, but he has stamina and is willing to go slow and steady in all things. His friendships and relationships are often long-lasting; when a Boar takes to a person, he is in it for the long haul and willing to work through problems.
